Snowflake Elegance

I had fun making this project.  It was super simple to do.

All you need to change a few plain old wine glasses into something beautiful is

~wine glasses

~etching cream

~paint brush

~a sink, paper towels

Make sure your glass is clean.

Pick out the stencil you wish to use ( I used snowflakes)

and tape it onto the glass and rub it on

(Most of the stencils come with a stick to rub with and I used the stencil that washes right off)

After the stencil is rubbed on remove the protective plastic cover and tape.

Place pieces of tape around the stencil (acts as a barrier so you don’t get etching cream on the glass outside of the stencil)

Then take your paint brush and apply the etching cream over the stencil.   Just go ahead and goop it on

Time it for a minute. Then rinse off with warm water.  Peel off tape and rub the stencil off.

And this is what you get

No more plain boring glasses 😮

I think these will make a good friend of mine very happy
